I REALLY REALLY REALLY HOPE I GET TO BE PART OF THE JAPAN TRIP THIS YEAR.
So, the lecturer in charge of the trip emailed us on Friday that we are to send him a write-up detailing
1) Why we want to be part of the trip
2) What we hope to learn from the trip
3) What can we do to share what we learn from the trip
to him by this coming Monday, 5pm sharp, so he can filter the students once again for the interview on Wednesday, which then only decides the final group of students who get to go on the trip.
And I was thinking on Friday night to send my finished write-up latest by Saturday night. But here I am, on Sunday night, not having sent that write-up yet. I've sort of finished it I guess, and at first it felt solid and good enough to get me into the interview list, but now it doesn't seem all that, at all.
I want this so badly! Gave up the Milan trip just to go after this Japan trip. WANT. SO. BADLY. But somehow I think my immense want might translate into lunacy in the lecturers' eyes and oh goodness me, I think I might have sounded a little desperate in my write-up.
During the trip, we (using 'we' here in hopes that I can become part of the 'we') even get to do an exchange with the people of Musashino Art University. Obviously they have architecture in there, but goodness me there are fine art students are in the school too! I can't wait to see what they do!!!
And their library. Is all sorts of amazing. Presenting the Musashino Art Uni library!

(Looooooove this.)

Is that not marvelous, or what! The concept of the library was to encircle and envelope the user in a world of books, which was done really perfectly, if I may say.
Fingers crossed I get into the trip!
